For the past 30 years Mike Gimbel has been considered an expert on substance abuse issues by the local Baltimore media as well as the national news media. Mike is often called upon by the local and national media to comment on current substance abuse issues. Mike has been featured on Good Morning America, The CBS Evening News, FOX News, PBS as well as the Boston Globe, Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, Baltimore Examiner, Patuxent Publishing and Baltimore Magazine.

Mike has hosted a substance abuse education television show called “Straight Talk” for the past 18 years on Fox 45, in Baltimore. This show is syndicated throughout the state of Maryland through Comcast Cable.
